For the Body Interior - Core Interior Trim Engineer. we are looking for experience in automotive interior trim systems and injection molded plastics, with focus on interior pillar trim, door trim, quarter trim, liftgate trim, scuff plates, wire shields, and frunk.**Basic Qualifications**:- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering field of study- 5+ years of automotive or engineering experience- Experience working in interior trim design and release, with experience in all program phases, from PS to launch**Preferred Qualifications**:- Recognized as having technical expertise in hard trim, door trim or frunk systems, with demonstrated capability through delivery at the program level- Advanced problem solving skills and high technical aptitude in interior trim systems- Plastic injection molding experience- Functional knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Digital Buck (Vis Mock-up), 8D’s, DFMEA’s, and GD&T- Demonstrated ability to forge productive relationships, achieve cooperation, and influence priorities of technical experts and other key partners- Strong oral/written communication skills to lead group projects, issue resolution, and management reviews- Prototype build and execution experience- Understanding of geometric tolerancing and design for variation- Demonstrated capability and willingness to teach/coach/mentor & document technical knowledgeCompany Description:Disclaimer:Ford Motor Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
