JOB STATEMENTThe Manager Field Service is responsible for the guide and support all technical services within the assigned territory. This Managerwill be capable of providing technical support to customers.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManages Field Service and site activities in the Market AreaResponsible for a profitable Service Operation in the Market AreaResponsible for the resource management and performance of the Service OperationsResponsible for the delivery or Field Services operations from resource management to quotations to invoicing and to relatedcustomer satisfactionAssures that the role of Field Service is understood in the local Market AreaAssures that all Field Service deliveries are carried out as per Metso Outotec and customer’s safety standards and local safetylegislationAssures proper resourcing for Field Services with relevant skills to support regular Field Service requirements, serviceprojects/agreements and/or Expert ServicesAssures the implementation and use of Metso Outotec processes and tools, including the use of the Field Service ManagementSolutionManages Project Coordination team for customer communication and issue escalated related to material deliverables.RELATIONSHIPSReports directly to Pablo Gonzalez Manager, Field Service.POSITION SPECIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enableindividuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEngineer, related experience in progressively responsible positionsMining industry technology and machinery expertise5 -7 years in similar roles or proven management in Engineering ServicesStrong Health and Safety experienceWork in a variety of environments, which may include exposure to extreme heat, humidity.High travel availabilityStrong familiarity with service activities in mine sites.Specific experience associated with service contracts is a plus.SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong understanding of service and support company process and practicesAbility to work under stress and meet deadlines.Strong customer in center performanceTake direction when needed on specific opportunitiesMust be capable of effectively and prioritizing tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.Proactive person and goal-orientedStrong ability to manage large technical/engineering teamsLead countrywide projects with high effectivity resultsPartnership with multiple departments to ensure profitabilityAbility to travel frequently.
