Develop new and updated GD&T drawings for BIW components and assemblies.Support development of new and MCA BIW dimensional control plans for vehicle geometry and Gap and Flush characteristics to meet deliverables according vehicle program timing.Conduct part/assembly tolerance analysis to assess product and assembly process req.Support tool assembly and BIW gage buy-off at supplier and assembly plants.Support DEMS and AMG for measurement systems and templates launch activities.Lead problem solving of build issues at the assembly plants for BIW Geometry and G/F fit (body complete to finished vehicle) during launch stage until J1+90 days.Co-assist metrology plant areas related to solve measurement build issues and investigation.Mechanical, Industrial, or mechatronic engineering degree required.5 years of experience w/preference in the automotive industryStrong skills on GD&T Standard (plus on body tolerance analysis)Measurement equipment knowledge (like scanning, CMM, laser tracker and vision sys)Logic, analytical to conduct problem solving investigation and projects.90% English spoken, understood, and read.Travel 30-40% timeKnowledge of MSA and SPC requirementsLeadership skills to coordinate team members for task investigation and analysis.Basic CAD NX/Team Center skillsOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
