Overview Would YOU like to be a part of the opening team of our Mama Shelter Mexico City ? As General Manager , you are the inspiration for your team to create a positive and stimulating environment focused on teamwork. You lead a team of about one hundred people whose mission is to provide customers with an exceptional Mama experience through a welcoming, quirky and friendly atmosphere that you create. You will also develop special relationships with customers and local businesses by delivering the Mama experience to them as well. Mama must be in good hands with you. You will maintain high standards in our rooms/ateliers and standards in food, services, health and safety, and you will ensure the profitability of Mama through revenue generation and cost control. Behind the scenes, you analyze sales figures and control expenses. You manage and forecast budgets, as well as financial plans. You collaborate with headquarters, especially on reporting results, as well as e-marketing and media campaigns. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of ~100 people to deliver an exceptional guest experience aligned with Mama Shelter standards. Maintain high standards across rooms, ateliers, food & beverage, services, health and safety. Drive profitability through revenue generation and cost control; analyze sales figures and manage budgets and financial plans. Collaborate with headquarters on reporting results and support e-marketing and media campaigns. Develop relationships with customers and local businesses to extend the Mama experience beyond the property. Qualifications Ability to adapt to challenges and stay calm in a high-traffic, quirky environment. Experience managing a team of at least 100 people. Ability to identify talent and help them grow; comfortable taking a leadership seat when needed. Flexible schedule with hours determined by business needs. Hands-on leader who is at the heart of action with the team, not always at a desk. Strong business development mindset and experience as a manager. Solid experience in hotel operations, and preferably in Food & Beverage (F&B). Hands-on, team-focused approach with a desire to grow the Mama Shelter group.
