Regional Vendor & Quality Systems Manager

Reporting to our Regional Quality Head, located in either Munro (Argentina) or Cuernavaca (Mexico), your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead vendor qualification activities (on-site, paper-based) throughout the region with nominated lead auditors.
  • Lead auditors perform a proper audit follow-up.
  • Schedule vendor audits together with Supplier Relationship Managers and assure timely work-off of the annual audit program.
  • Perform vendor audits according to the Global Vendor Quality principles.
  • Monitor the vendor's audit follow-up and work-off of corrective action lists.
  • Support the development of the vendor auditor pool and conduct training.
  • Review vendor performance indicators and suggest development activities.
  • Lead improvement projects designed to enhance the vendor's overall performance in terms of quality system reliability and delivery performance.
  • Support local sites in case of raw material non-conformance.

Vendor and Ingredient Qualification

  • Review documentation and suitability of vendors as part of the vendor/ingredient qualification process, executing review of alternative Vendors data and New Ingredient Introduction (AVAP/NII).
  • Assure service lead time of workflow related to alternative Vendors data and New Ingredient Introduction.

Knowledge and Training

  • Provide support and facilitate training specific to internal standards for sites and auditors.
  • Establish and review training material at the regional level.

Audit and Risk Management

  • Support the coordination of the internal Audit Programs.
  • Support external certification processes and contracts.

Document Management

  • Responsible for the Document Management process. Support local and regional functions in managing regulated documents, and coordinate, maintain, and improve the framework for a quality document management system.
  • Anticipate and review required program and process changes based on established policy and propose improvement initiatives.
  • Define and update the procedures, instructions, and tools required to operate in a factory.

Your Academic Background:

  • University graduate or equivalent in Food Science or related field of study.
  • Master's degree in Quality Management.
  • Business fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese will be a differential.

Your Professional Profile Includes:

  • Extensive and recognized technical expertise in quality management, including ISO9001, ISO17025, ISO10002, FSSC22000.
  • Experience in Pasteurization, Food Microbiology, Validation of Lethality Steps.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an equivalent position.
  • Demonstrated competence in Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience in successfully implementing Quality management programs by leading change or participating in project teams, audits, and/or improvement projects.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics; understanding of the Flavours Industry will be a differential.
