Application Engineer

Position:Application Engineer (FPGA Experience Required)**Job Description**:As an Embedded Software Engineer at Arrow Electronics, you will be developing embedded firmware & software that will be leveraged by Arrow's customers to enable their end-products and speed-up time to market. Projects may consist of small modifications to existing code up to projects requiring ground-up firmware development driven by formal statements of work.What You'll Be Doing:- Developing and implementing hardware design and coding solutions using FPGA architecture- Writing and debugging VHDL and Verilog code- Collaborating with software and hardware engineers to ensure compatibility and optimize system performance.- Conducting research and staying up to date on the latest FPGA technologies and trends- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues as they arise- Creating and maintaining technical documentationWhat We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field- 3+ years of experience in FPGA design and programming- Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog programming languages- Knowledge of FPGA architecture and design principles- Experience with hardware design and implementation- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities- Ability to work effectively in a team environmentWhat's In It For You:At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
