Role Senior PHP Developer Location Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico (On-site) We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PHP / Symfony Developer who also possesses strong Business Analysis capabilities. This role requires a dynamic individual who can efficiently manage backend development while working closely with clients to understand and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and clarify business objectives. Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team to ensure alignment. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and development tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and functional issues raised by the client. Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices. Contribute to architectural decisions and product planning. Support and contribute to Pimcore-based projects and learn the platform deeply as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications 15+ years of professional experience in software development. Strong expertise in PHP and Symfony framework. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a client-facing role. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience working with databases like MySQL. Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and CI / CD pipelines. Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Must be located near Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. Additional Skills Pimcore experience and knowledge would be plus. Job Type Contract Pay $ - $ per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
