Engineering Managers provide leadership for cross functional engineering teams. They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.**What your background should look like**:Strong communication skillsSelf-motivated with effective problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong design skillsAbility to proactively drive projects with mínimal guidance or supervisionAbility and willingness to provide input on technical solutions both product and manufacturing relatedAbility to work with multicultural engineering teamsKnowledge of basic quality trouble shooting techniquesTolerance analysisKnowledge of statistical analysis toolsExperienced in using Microsoft Office Tools.Use of 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Creo) CAD software preferredFluent in spoken and written EnglishEducation Background: Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical EngineeringElectrical Interconnect Design Experience a plusExperience with manufacturing processes a plus**Competencies**:- Managing and Measuring Work- Building Effective Teams- Motivating Others- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)You will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
