This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. The accountant will manage day-to-day financial tasks, prepare reports, and ensure client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.**Key Responsibilities**- Perform daily accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.- Prepare and analyze financial statements for external clients to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Assist in tax preparation and filings, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.- Communicate directly with clients to address inquiries and provide financial insights.- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to improve processes and meet client needs.- Stay informed of changes in tax laws and accounting standards relevant to client industries.- Utilize accounting software and tools efficiently to manage client accounts.- Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of financial data.**Qualifications**- Two years of relevant work experience in accounting, including experience with **US Accounting principles and practices.**- **Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel).**- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.- Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.**Remote Work Requirements**:- A minimum of two monitors for optimal productivity.- A quiet and dedicated workspace conducive to remote work.- A reliable, high-speed internet connection for smooth communication and task execution.**Education**- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.- Please submit your resume in English.
