The growing awareness world-wide for environment and energy savings are enabling us to deliver strong value to our customers and we need you to support our continued success.**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Place purchase orders with suppliers and follow-up when necessary to avoid stockouts.- Ensure accuracy of purchase order due dates.- Promise customer orders based on the availability of material and capacity.- Release production orders to manufacturing based on material availability.- Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products.- Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to lower inventory, reduce stockouts and to improve on-time delivery.- Maintain master data information in SAP.- Create and/or publish planning report**Background & Skills**Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain & Operations Management or related field is required.- APICS certification or commitment to attain.- Passionate about learning and to continuously improve skills.- Organized and process oriented.- Professional and outstanding communication skills in all aspects and situations especially, when dealing with customers, suppliers and co-workers.**Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow**- At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
