We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Administration and Business Support.The role of the Business Analyst is to primarily support their respective CAO Team, and Business Service Managers in Operations in regards to governance, front office engagement and transparency, headcount, financials control and support function engagement, people data and MI, and project work. The Business Analyst will also support adhoc activities such as strategy work (e.g. US Strategy) and Transformation activities (e.g. Project Optimus).The Business Analyst provides dedicated business management support to one or more services within US DBS (incl Operations primarily). Support includes but not limited to:- Some relationship management activities, interfacing with the relevant lines of business and region as needed. Role Holder will also support production of materials for monthly LOB oversight meetings.- Active management and control of financial plans (FRP), allocations, forecasts, actuals, accruals and headcount.- HIBS Billing & Recharges oversight (Incl.Over/Under Recovery- Oversight of GSC Invoices/Billing- Management, reporting and communication of compliance and regulatory requirements for the aligned function. This would include but not limited to reporting for SQR, Conduct Risk, & the OCC.- Support DBS Activities (e.g. DBS Led Savings Initiative, Resource Forecasting, Diversity Program, CAO ARO, CAO Financials)- Support the review of the monthly scorecard and support action changes required to achieve targets- Any adhoc activities as required**Requirements**:**Requirements**:- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills- Analysis/strategy - the ability to analyse complex issues and identify/assess the long-term, strategic implications for the Bank and its customers- Excellent planning, organizing and commercial skills including strong financial management capability- Strong, positive role model- Communication - the ability to communicate complex issues concisely- Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively- High degree of drive and motivation - to ensure delivery of objectives in a timely, efficient and effective manner.- Attention to detail combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results- Resilience to work well under pressure, being flexible and adaptable to rapidly change priorities**Challenges**- Understanding details of the country business and strategy- Understand the industry in a global context and maintain high level of interaction and understanding for the future needs of all stakeholders- Assist in translating stakeholder needs to an action plan- Understanding regional plans and goals in context with those of Global Operations- Support team of highly motivated (demanding) individuals in a complex environment of constant change- Ability to multitask and prioritizeThe jobholder will ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organisation.
