We want to help thousands of entrepreneurs make better decisions with data and insights from our platform.Position Data Engineer Mid**Mission**Fairplay is looking for a highly motivated, smart, energetic, and well-organized Date Engineer.Mid data engineers are responsible for managing the flow of data within the company, as well as ensuring the quality and integrity of data.Objetives- Analyze, diagnose, and identify bottlenecks in the data flow.- Monitor, refine, and report on the performance of data management systems.- Automation of data loads to data flow management systems (data lakes, data warehouses)- Testing and documentationKey**Responsibilities**:- Documenting changes and new projects- design and implementation of data flows (Data Lake, Data pipelines, ETLs)- Identifying and correcting problems- Optimization and improvement of data extraction, transformation, loading and querying processes.- Collaboration in knowledge transfer.**Requirements**:Technical CompetenciesPython, SQL, Microservices and Data Stream ImplementationAWS (S3, Lambda, Step functions, Athena)Unit Testing and Testing SkillsPersonal Skills- Positive personality with excellent verbal communication skills.- Strong work ethic and ability to working independently.- Good communication with other areas that are not Engineering such as customer service and customer success, sales, and product.What we offer- Position: Full Time remote- Contract Type:If you live in Mexico, you have benefits such as:- VACATIONS 12 DAYS- MEDICAL INSURANCE- LIFE INSURANCE- SALES BONUS- CHRISTMAS BONUS- 100% payroll and more***2.
