Calibration Engineer

Job Description Joining the AVL team in México, you will be responsible to carry out engine calibration activities in engine test bed. Location Salio, México Responsibilities To solve any ECU related issues during engine test bed testing of internal combustion engines. To adapt calibration data to allow smooth operation during engine test bed testing. To steer development and implementation of improvement measures to avoid ECU related issues and more generally to improve KPIs for engine operation at engine test bed. Qualifications Degree in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or comparable studies. Genuine interest in internal combustion engines. Knowledge in automotive electronics. Knowledge of automotive communication systems (CAN, etc…). Ability to investigate root cause of issues, analyze data and formally present and report testing results. High level of coordination, communication and team skills. Good knowledge of English.
