We develop, manufacture, and sell the world's most durable and reliable products and solutions for use in mechanical and plant engineering, broadcast and entertainment, factory automation, power generation and distribution as well as industrial electronics and telecommunication.We are seeking a Quote Specialist to join our custom solutions department. The primary responsibility is to review the customer drawings/prints for quotation. The quote specialist works with the purchasing department to gather costs of material and evaluates the labor involved in the assembly and lastly generate the sales quote.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**- Responsible for the creation of sales quotes for custom cable harness/cord sets by breaking down customer supplied prints and specifications into essential components- Oversee the quote process and track sourcing and manufacturing input- Estimating labor based in information from manufacturing department- Determine sequence of operations that need to be quoted- Resolve procurement and lead time issues, manage customer expectations, and work on resolutions- Working with multiple departments in a collaborative effort to understand and secure business- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment**Education and Requirements**- Can read and understand customer drawings and electrical schematics- Microsoft 365 program suite proficiency, particularly in Excel- Previous ERP/MRP material planning experience- Knowledge of the interconnect industry is a plus- Electrical and/or Mechanical technical background a plus- Cost Estimating: 1 year (preferred)Gute Gründe, um bei HARTING durchzustarten:**Development opportunities**Individual development and career plan, customized further training**Competitive compensation**Attractive salary and benefits package in line with current market standardsInformation at a Glance**Company location**:Silao, Mexico**Region**:México.**Contact person**:Abigail Cervantes**Recruiter phone**:**LinkedIn URL Recruiter**:abigail-cervantes-carrillo-b
