What this job involves JLL Technologies Software Engineering team is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage and develop software engineering teams in Mexico and North America. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager who can thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment to join our growing organization. This role will lead multiple engineering teams delivering platform solutions built on .NET Framework and currently undergoing upgrade to .NET 8 and containerization. This is a role that requires partnering with the broader JLLT team at the country, regional and global level by utilizing in-depth knowledge of software development, cloud technologies, and leadership experience. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at JLL Technologies, you will: Lead multiple related scrum teams with focus on software engineering excellence Oversee platform modernization efforts from .NET Framework to .NET 8 and containerization Align technical initiatives with business objectives across teams Take ownership of new products and initiatives while integrating with established best practices Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet key business objectives Oversee the full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment Design and implement scalable software architecture leveraging cloud technologies and modern development practices Lead team of engineers ranging from junior to senior levels (P2-P5) in an Agile environment Cross-collaborate with Product, Design, Sales, Marketing and other functional areas Mentor and develop engineering talent, creating growth opportunities for team members Work effectively with globally distributed teams and stakeholders Build and leverage AI-powered tools to enhance development workflows and productivity Champion the integration of AI throughout the software development lifecycle to improve quality, efficiency, and innovation Drive adoption of AI-powered code generation, testing, and optimization tools across engineering teams What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in engineering management Experience managing teams developing SaaS/PaaS products, preferably with enterprise scale applications Strong technical background in .NET development (.NET Framework and .NET Core/8) and containerization technologies Experience with modernization initiatives and platform upgrades Experience working with US-based enterprise companies and collaborating with global teams Proven leadership in Agile environments with ability to adapt to changing priorities Experience with modern development practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud-native development Understanding of software architecture principles and experience guiding architectural decisions Knowledge of enterprise software development processes, quality assurance, and release management Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across different levels Experience working with teams across geographic locations and time zones What you can expect from us: You’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
