Maintenance Supervisor

Key Accountabilities- Responsible for daily work schedules for Maintenance Mechanics.- Ensure tasks are running as scheduled.- Track and prioritize open work orders.- Order parts and equipment as necessary.- Identifies and performs process improvements.- Interact with all levels of the organization in an efficient and cooperative manner.- Lead and perform troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels- Document project activities and prepare appropriate operating standards and/or maintenance procedures for all equipment and processes- Complete documentation process for machinery usage, equipment maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of maintenance equipment shop.- Maintain familiarity with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and processes, and relationships with appropriate equipment vendors and suppliers- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors- Must have 8+ years of preventative maintenance experience.- Must have working technical knowledge including hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical repair and PLC.- Must have excellent verbal and written skills.- Must be able to coordinate multiple job effectives and handle detailed and broad range projects while meeting deadlines.- Must have experience with software interface tools for Allen Bradley or GE Fanuc, PLCs and windows-based software preferred.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with mínimal supervision required.- Must be able to locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.- Must be able to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.- Must be able to adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.- Must be able to fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.- Must be able to maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies. With 1-3 years' experience in a Material Handler position or equivalent experience- Ability to communicate with employees and management in a positive manner.
