Descripción del trabajo Job Summary We are recruiting for the right person to head up our Compensation programs and to join our Human Resources team. This position will partner in the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of the company's compensation and required programs globally. The person in this role will provide consultative services to Human Resources team members, management and employees regarding compensation programs including base pay and variable pay. This individual will also work, in partnership with the SVP HR, to provide information to the Board of Directors on executive and board compensation. In addition, the person in this role will recommend compensation solutions that meet the business and strategic objectives of the company. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Propose, implement and maintain competitive, cost-effective and compliant compensation programs that support Company short and long-term objectives. Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives. Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs. Provide guidance to HR and management on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluations. Conduct regular total compensation benchmark analysis to validate total compensation structure, philosophy and market competitiveness for all positions/functions. Oversee annual variable compensation plan development and ongoing salary planning and monitoring. Oversee incentive pay program design and scorecard development in partnership with business leadership. Ensure compensation is competitive with the marketplace and internally while recognizing the need for cost stewardship. Ensures compliance and consistency with U.S. and global policies, procedures, and processes and with applicable compensation related laws and regulations. Provides advice to corporate staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations. Provides services to senior management on organizational design by providing advice on organizational transformations, job mapping and analysis and job structure in the organization. Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans. Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data for meaningful decision making. Participates in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved. Key Skills Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements in the USA related to employee compensation. Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation outside the USA is preferred. Extensive experience leading global compensation programs, along with excellent decision-making skills. Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret and communicate data. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including advanced Excel skills and Power Point. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience managing global teams preferred. Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field. 10+ years of progressive compensation experience. 5+ years of compensation management experience.Certified Compensation Professional or equivalent certification preferred. Physical Requirements Physical demands with activity or condition requiring a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine. Physical demands may include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs.
