Iot Solution Architect

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in IoT network infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize network-level solutions for large-scale IoT deployments. This role focuses on network connectivity, authentication protocols (RADIUS & Diameter), and scalable IoT architectures, rather than device-level operations.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect & Design IoT Network Solutions- Develop and optimize IoT connectivity architectures, including multi-carrier solutions.- Define network authentication and security models, leveraging RADIUS and Diameter protocols.- Ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability of IoT network infrastructure.Technology Advisory & Implementation- Provide technical leadership on integrating IoT devices with cellular and private network infrastructures.- Assess emerging network technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.Authentication & Security Implementation- Design and implement RADIUS and Diameter-based authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services for IoT connectivity.- Collaborate with telecom operators to optimize roaming, SIM provisioning, and security models.- Develop policy-based enforcement strategies for network access control and traffic management.OSS/BSS System Integration- Work closely with Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) to enable seamless IoT connectivity management.- Design network orchestration, billing, and service assurance solutions for IoT connectivity services.- Implement real-time monitoring, automation, and fault management solutions using OSS frameworks.- Ensure BSS alignment with IoT billing, policy enforcement, and service lifecycle management.Cross-Team Collaboration- Work closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to deploy and scale IoT network solutions.- Interface with carriers, MVNOs, and cloud providers to integrate connectivity solutions seamlessly.- Provide technical documentation, best practices, and training for internal teams and external stakeholders.Required Qualifications & Skills✔ Experience:- 8+ years in network architecture, telecom, or IoT networking roles.- Proven experience working with RADIUS and Diameter protocols for authentication & authorization.- Hands-on experience with OSS/BSS integration for network operations and IoT service management.- Strong background in IP networking, LTE, 5G, and private networking solutions.- Hands-on experience with cloud-based and hybrid IoT network solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, on-prem deployments).- Familiarity with VPNs, SD-WAN, APNs, firewalls, and edge networking in an IoT context.✔ Technical Skills:- Deep knowledge of RADIUS, Diameter, AAA frameworks.- Strong understanding of network security protocols (TLS, IPsec, PKI, SIM-based security).- Experience with carrier integrations, APN configurations, and SIM management.- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools and automation frameworks.- Hands-on experience with protocols like MQTT, CoAP, or LwM2M is a plus.✔ Soft Skills:- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Self-starter with a consultative mindset and ability to lead technical discussions.Preferred Certifications (Bonus)- Cisco CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Security)- Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE- AWS/Azure Cloud Networking Certifications- IoT-Specific Certifications (GSMA IoT Security, LPWAN, 5G Core Networking)Why Join Us?- Work on cutting-edge IoT networking solutions.- Impact global IoT connectivity at scale.- Collaborate with leading telecom providers & enterprises.- Opportunities for career growth in a fast-evolving industry.If you are a network-focused IoT Solution Architect with a passion for designing high-performance, secure, and scalable IoT networks, we’d love to hear from you
