As a Quality Laboratory Technician, you will certify our emulsions, resins and additives according to our customers' requirements.You will report to Head of Technical Customer Service and Quality.**Key Responsibilities**- Determine finished product properties such as % solids, viscosity, residual monomer, pH, density, particle size, lump concentration, acid value, basic value, film forming temperature, % foam, thermal stability, mechanical stability, contrast ratio, film on glass.- Record the quality results of the finished product and raw material, and its release or rejection in the Oracle R12 system.- Develop recovery plan based on adjustment tests on deviated batches.- Maintain the integrity of laboratory equipment.**Qualifications**- Completed high school or technical career- + 2 years in quality areas.- Experience in chemical companies- Rotate shifts- Knowledge of good laboratory practices- Quality tools**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.****We are "One PPG" to the world.****We trust our people every day, in every way.****We make it happen.****We run it like we own it.****We do better today than yesterday - everyday.**Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
