The Prod Ctrl Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.**Responsibilities**:- Monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data- Identify process gaps and control issues- Escalate anomalies and issues in an efficient and timely manner- Interpret data, identify inconsistencies through research and recommend solutions based on analysis- Develop knowledge of how team interacts with others to accomplish Finance goals- Develop basic knowledge of industry practices and standards- Exchange complex information succinctly and with discretion**Qualifications**:- 0-2 years of relevant experience- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceSpecialized Accounting and Subsidiaries Area is a group within Product Control that has the responsibility of the Insurance and Afore Businesses P&L Reporting & Analysis, this team is responsible for the controlling, analyzing and reporting of daily P&L and balance sheet analysis of Seguros and Afore Banamex.This role will cover Profit and Loss reporting and analysis of Consumer business. It will require strong communication skills and teamwork across multiple locations and departments.**Responsibilities**:- Reconcile MTD daily P&L figures from product control report to the general ledger and management reports- Analysis and production of the daily P&L for Afore and Seguros- Control and Coordinate maintenance of portfolios of Front-end Systems- Participate in different projects to automatize the feed or Management and PCU systems.**Requirements**:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- A proven track record of working in teams- A control focused mind-set with strong process improvement capabilities- Knowledge in Debt securities, IR and FX Derivatives- Knowledge of Excel and accounting- 0-2 years of experience in Financial Industry**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, math, finance or economics.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment;- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;- Motivated, organized, and team oriented- Control focused-mindset- Understand balance sheet management concepts- Advanced level of English desired- **Job Family Group**:Finance- **Job Family**:Product Control- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
