Senior OT Cybersecurity Engineer

Overview We are seeking a Senior OT Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and enforcement of our global cybersecurity practice, with a strong focus on IEC 62443 standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our robotics development teams across the US, Europe, and Mexico follow secure best practices in alignment with our business strategy. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with leadership and documentation skills, guiding teams to embed cybersecurity into every stage of the development lifecycle. Kaizen: Looking constantly for personal and team improvement and helping to bring this team to a higher level. Monitor: Security posture and compliance with secure IEC 62443-4-1 SDLC processes. Representing Omron: Using Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, customers, distributors, and colleagues. in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner. Job Level 5+ years of cybersecurity experience is preferred. Required Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience. Define, document, and enforce cybersecurity processes aligned with IEC 62443 and other relevant standards. Partner with global development teams to integrate secure-by-design principles into robotics software. Lead risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management for OT environments. Establish clear governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and resilience. Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams on cybersecurity best practices. Drive continual improvement through audits, metrics, and feedback loops. Preferred Proven experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity , preferably in robotics or industrial automation. Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 and related standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF). Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
