You will be developing a working knowledge of Medtronic’s products & business models models, processes and operations. You will utilize your field experience, business/industry knowledge and technical knowledge to lead a variety of audit/consulting engagements and support the company’s objectives. Simultaneously, you will support the regional Corporate Audit Manager on risk assessment activities.**A Day in the Life**In your role, you will lead a variety of assignments across the region such as auditing sales office/countries, new business models, global/region led processes, post-acquisition audits as well as advisory projects to support management on transformational initiatives. You will coordinate and work with the team on all phases of the audit cycle from planning, fieldwork and reporting activities In this role, you will also have an opportunity to expand your data analytics skillsets to drive audit results.As a Principal auditor your activities will include but are not limited to:- Lead audit projects in accordance with department standard operating procedures.- Support business in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.- Design and prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management.- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits by examining and verifying accounting or operational records and or procedures of internal organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems.- Inspire, motivate, develop and actively coach team members**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (Accounting, Business Administration, finance, or any other related field)- 7+ years of relevant experience in Audit i.e Big4 or internal audit.- Understanding of Internal control design and testing.- Excellent interpersonal and English communication (verbal and written) skills- Experience with accounting and auditing theories and principles, including US GAAP and SOX**Nice to Have**- **Professional certification such as a CPA, MBA, CIA, or CMA.**:- **Experience in healthcare or medical devices industry.**:- **Experienced with SAP**:- **Experience with Data Analytics tools (ie Power BI)****We Offer****We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to all our employees**:- **Flexible working environment**:- **Annual Incentive Plan % depending on company results.**:- **Pension scheme and group discount on healthcare insurance**:- **Training possibilities via Cornerstone/Skills Lab**:- **Employee Assistance Program and Recognize (our global recognition program)****Our Commitment****Our unwavering commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity (ID&E) means zero barriers to opportunity within Medtronic and a culture where all employees belong, are respected, and feel valued for who they are and the life experiences they contribute.
