You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, tax regulations, and client management, with mentorship and growth opportunities available as you advance in your career.If you're driven by a fast-paced environment and eager to continuously develop your skills, GBS Group is the perfect place for your career growth**Key Responsibilities**:- Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for clients, including tracking assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities.- Reconcile bank accounts, including gathering and balancing relevant financial information.- Process accounting paperwork, including bank statements and client documentation.- Coordinate accounting workflows to ensure timely and high-quality output.- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their accounting and financial needs.- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local financial regulations.- Work collaboratively with senior team members, receiving guidance and taking on more complex tasks as you develop.- Occasional extended business hours may be required when necessary.- Other responsibilities as assigned.**Required Qualifications and Experience**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.- +2 years of accounting experience or relevant internships, with a clear understanding of accounting principles and practices.- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).- Basic to intermediate knowledge of QuickBooks.- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients in both languages (reading, writing, and speaking).- Knowledge of US corporate and personal tax regulations is a plus.**Ideal Qualifications**:- Experience working in a CPA or Bookkeeping firm.- Exposure to payroll processing or tax filing (Sales, Payroll, or Tangible Taxes).- Familiarity with Creative Solutions Suite (UltraTax CS and Practice CS).- Experience working with US-based companies.**Skills**:- Analytical Thinking: Ability to solve accounting issues and analyze financial data accurately.- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in records, reports, and reconciliations.- Communication: Explain complex financial matters clearly to clients in English and Spanish.- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Adaptability: Embrace challenges and take opportunities to learn and grow in the role.**Why GBS Group?**At GBS Group, you’ll join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with opportunities to develop a diverse skill set.
