Throughout this program, there are many opportunities to gain insight and exposure to our business that will last a lifetime.**Ford Champs**will allow to get to now different business areas through 12 to 24 months, while you improve your skills and become a better professional.**What you´ll need**:- Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of of Business Administration or Automotive or a closely related discipline.- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)- Strong analytical and communication skills- Strong analytical skills for evaluating quotes and supplier information.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel).- Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.- Knowledge of different materials, components, or manufacturing processes relevant to prototyping.**What you´ll do**:- Support experienced buyers in the end-to-end procurement process for prototype materials and tooling.- Assist in the preparation and distribution of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to potential suppliers.- Help analyze vendor proposals and quotes, comparing costs, lead times, and terms under guidance.- Support communication with suppliers regarding quotes, order status, and delivery schedules.- Assist in placing and tracking Purchase Orders for prototype requirements.- Support the maintenance of supplier information, documentation, and procurement records.- Collaborate with engineering to understand prototype needs and specifications.
