If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Regulatory Compliance Controls and Advisory Manager****Role purpose**:The primary function of the role is to serve as the manager and local point of escalation for the Global Banking Regulatory Compliance personnel located in Mexico City. The role is to collaborate with the US Regulatory Compliance function and support the overall compliance framework for HSBC’s Wholesale, Global Banking, Commerical Banking, and Markets & Security Service businesses. The role will act as a manager for the team extension of the US Compliance team.**Main Activities**:- Run daily, monthly, and ad-hoc controls to escalation potential exceptions to US compliance management.- Support initiatives to comply with regulations such as: Dodd-Frank Act, Swap Dealers rules, CFTC Futures Commission Merchant rules and FINRA trade reporting rules.- Ensure delivery of processes operate in a well-defined control environment.- Ensure continuous review of processes with the objective of improving delivery timeframes, control environment and to identify areas of improvement for RC Operations.- Contribute to strategic planning & decisions in RC management meetings- Understand stakeholder needs and manage expectations.- Contribute to HSBCs values: We value difference; We succeed together; We take responsibility; We get it done.Requirements**Knowledge & Experience**- Independent accountability for driving and achieving results.- Solid practical understanding of Banking and Markets Trading businesses.- Strong organization, time management and prioritization demand abilities.- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, combined with strong integrity to challenge, ask the right questions, be persistent, give and receive feedback positively, collaborate effectively within own team, outside team and with business leads.- Fully proficient English language skills- You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC_At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
