About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 S&P Global Corporate The role: DevOps Engineer The Team The Commercial Technology team is responsible for the management and improvements of the Business Applications that drive S&P Global. Our team leads many internal applications focusing on Salesforce and the integrated tools. You will have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe. The Impact You will be a key leader when it comes to the enterprise DevOps strategy for Salesforce in our organization. You will use your skills and experience to build the infrastructure and tools used for the overall release lifecycle in coordination with project teams. This position will enable you to interact with an Agile team of in‑house Salesforce professionals from around the world. We are in search of a highly motivated developer who is excited about utilizing their technical project‑management skills to lead projects from conception to completion in an Agile environment across multiple CRM teams. Responsibilities Plan and execute scheduled releases for multiple Salesforce instances using Azure DevOps, Git and Copado Use AI Agents to accelerate DevOps speed and quality Manage and maintain version control systems Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or automation Work closely with project teams to resolve build problems and merge conflicts Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline with a focus on SoX compliance, quality gates and required approval processes Prepare release notes and communicate release status to stakeholders and project teams Must have qualifications 3+ years of experience as a software release manager, Salesforce admin or developer with knowledge of Salesforce metadata, deployments and release‑management tools like Copado or AutoRabit BA/BS in a relevant field (business or technology) or experience, with understanding of the financial services industry Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Deep knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum including Agile metrics and reporting techniques Communication skills (presentational, active listening, ability to build consensus, and support across functions and at all levels) Experience working effectively in a dynamic development environment within large, global teams You will be able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or critical issue Nice to have Experience with Copado CI/CD Certifications: Salesforce Admin, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer 1, Copado Fundamentals Certifications Location Hybrid setting 2 days onsite: Santa Fe, Mexico City.
