The Quality Technician is responsible for assisting in the resolution of quality problems in the production areas, generates and/or updates documentation such as LPA (First Article Release), EVC (Visual Quality Standard), RIN (Inspection Records), HII (Inspection Instruction Sheets), complying with all safety and quality requirements/regulations.ResponsabiitiesGenerate department reports and metrics.Follow up the quality system based on the procedures.May coordinate the remote archiving of their areasSupport the Metrology department in the measurement of layouts.Support in the realization of capacity and Gage R&R studiesSupport in performing quality system audits.Support the department in trainingSupport Engineering in the generation of documentation (EVC, HII, etc).Generate backups to folder information in the quality department's networkSegregate non-conforming materialGenerate discrepant material reportsTrain production personnel on documentation changesCreate and control quality alerts as requiredMay perform failure analysis functionsMay perform receipt inspection functionsEnsure that the equipment they use is calibrated.Audits that masters used by production are calibrated and used for equipment verification.Performs layer audits as requiredOther activities as assigned by managementParticipate in Continuous Improvement activities as required.ExperienceHigh school, technical or engineering degree.Office, Access, Minitab, Oracle, Trackwise, Measurlink, Agile, Handling of inspection, measurement and test equipment,Basic knowledge of MSA, Knowledge of auditing, sampling and SPC,Basic knowledge of IATF standard,Basic knowledge of GD&T, Knowledge of ESD,Intermediate-advanced English.SmarterTogether- Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing- Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication- As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work togetherClick here to viewSensata Recruitment Privacy StatementClick here to view ourSensata Recruitment Privacy Statement for China
