As a Software Development Engineer, you are eager to take on multiple languages, frameworks, and contribute to future architecture decisions. You are versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies and are comfortable with giving and taking technical direction.Our primary business logic is currently PHP but transitioning to Node services. Our web front ends utilize Vue. Some teams leverage Python and bits of Ruby as well. Finally, many of our APIs interact with Android clients so any mobile development you have is a plus.**What We're Looking For**:- 3+ years experience working full stack development, strong in backend development- Experience working with: NodeJS, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS- Experience with MySQL or Postgres- API Design and Integration experience (REST)- Database design experience, with understanding of various ORMs such as Eloquent- Experience with unit testing and integration testing- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering- Good technical foundation with ability to pick up new skills and adapt quickly- Desire to learn new technologies while supporting existing- A commitment to software craftsmanship and things like unit testing, code review, design patterns, etc**Behaviour**- Team player - collaborative- Engaged with our mission statement and core values - transparency, resilience, thinking, one team.**What Will Make You Stand Out**:- A good nice to have is experience in AWS Services (Lambda, Serverless services), RabbitMQ- Laravel Experience- Vue.js Experience- Mobile development experience- Cloud native development in to AWS- Python- System Architecture Design- CI/CD- Agile/Scrum- Linux administration- Big Data- Working with hardware- Java**We offer the following benefits**:- 100% payroll scheme- 20 days - Christmas bonus- 10 days of vacation per year- 5 personal days- 8% (cap) saving fund- 11% (cap) of food coupons- IDEX Bonus (Rate fix to 18 MXN - Only team members in the Baja)- Employer paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance; medical insurance for employee and dependents- _**IF the position requires relocation**:_- 30 Days of Hotel- Air transportation for employee and family members- Cash bonus (amount depends on distance)- Access to the iTJ concierge, to help find a home and all services related- Education reimbursement (Up to $54,000 MXN per year)- Certification reimbursement (Up to $3,000 USD per year)- 30% vacation bonus- Work at Home Bonus for office equipment 1 time $300 USD- 1 month paternity leaveiTjuana does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.**Salary**: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per month**Language**:- english (required)Work Remotely:- Yes
