We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Controls Analyst to work at our corporate department located in Chihuahua, Mexico. Responsibilities Support the design, implementation, documentation, assessment and monitoring of the Company’s internal control framework Develop and re‑enforce policies and procedures to improve internal controls Lead the process for internal controls reviews across CVG (domestic and international locations) Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to business partners, senior leadership and audit committee Deliver adequate and timely action plans and monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies Work collaboratively with business and process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts that result from internal control assessments, ensuring the effective implementation of corrective action Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings Develop and deliver trainings to control owners to improve their understanding and execution of controls Maintain accurate data in AuditBoard (SOXHUB module) for the control framework, control ownership, deficiency analyses, deficiency tracking/reporting, flowcharts, and other workstream projects Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a similar position in a multinational public company or delivering similar services via Big 4 or large US‑owned public accounting firm Strong knowledge of US‑GAAP and COSO framework is required CPC (MX equivalent of the CPA), advanced degree, or pursuit of such is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; equivalent education and/or experience considered Strong communication skills presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks Strong experience and interest in how technology and systems can support internal control effectiveness and efficiency Strong analytical skills including the ability to identify, assess and address risk, materiality and interdependencies and translate it into impact analysis for financial reporting and recommendations for improvement Strong oral and written communication skills, including sound presentational skills Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a multi‑geographic team Striving for continuous improvement and optimization Adaptable to working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders Complete additional duties, special projects and participate on teams as assigned Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%) Language Skills Fluent English‑speaker. Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communication skills; able to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization including senior management. Mathematical Skills Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to formulate excel formulas Reasoning Ability Ability to think both analytically and creatively. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to present numerical data effectively and accurately. Computer Skills Fluent with MS Office including advanced Excel skills.
