Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.This position supports customers with InSight Platform enablement, responsible for InSight Connect project management to “get units connected” and sustaining support to “keep units connected” to InSight Platform.Job Related Statistics- Responsible for connectivity projects with low complexity, using standard connectivity solutions.- Projects may be to establish connectivity and/or maintain connectivity- Low number of projects to be managed- Occasional participation in cross functional teams to achieve targeted resultsJob Duties/Responsibilities may include but not limited to:- Working closely with Customers, and Solar employees to define and execute InSight Connect network activation to enable Solar Digital products.- Providing leadership in completing project tasks and customer service in interfacing with internal and external customers to support service agreement deliverables for connected equipment.- Digital product sales support.- Enablement project definition, design, management and completion.- Technical documentation creation and updates.- InSight Activation to get units connected.- Diagnostic report creation and validation.- Troubleshooting and issue resolution for the existing connected units.- Support InSight development initiatives.- Remote / Local installation support.- Occasional customer site visits to assess and/or execute works- Training for field service and customers, as required.- Continuous quality improvement.- Collaborate with a team of Network & Systems Engineers to optimize and iterate on connectivity solutions.- Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Solar Digital management from time to time.- Leverage Scrum practices during the whole worksMinimum Qualifications- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent- 2 to 4 years of experience- Basic knowledge of project management, process improvement and standardization.- Familiarity with Solar’s product line, as well as Process Control and Automation, Control Systems, IP / controls / or package instrumentation- IT networking knowledge- Ability to communicate appropriately to ensure a team’s success- Accountability planning/organization, and teamwork- Developed interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional or potentially controversial situations.- Good oral and written communication skills"Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
