The company focuses on cross-cultural excellence to empower businesses to focus on expansion and growth.**About the role**:We’re hiring a System Administrator to oversee the health, performance, and reliability of our SQL Managed Instance environment, manage production deployments, and play a key role in DevOps and infrastructure automation. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone with a passion for both systems reliability and data integrity.**What You’ll Do**- Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure SQL Managed Instances and SQL Server databases- Perform index tuning, query optimization, and performance monitoring- Handle backup/restore, failover configuration, HA/DR planning, and maintenance plans- Review and advise on database schema design, stored procedures, and indexing strategies- Monitor database growth and forecast capacity needs- Ensure adherence to data security, access control, and compliance policies- Oversee code deployments and infrastructure releases via Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment scripts- Manage Windows Server VMs used for hosting web and backend services- Support and maintain Azure App Services, ensuring uptime and scalability- Automate common administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripts**Required Skills & Experience**- 2+ years of experience with SQL Server (on-prem or managed) in a DBA or database engineering role- Strong command of T-SQL, including scripting, performance tuning, and database development- Experience administering Azure SQL Managed Instance or Azure SQL Database- Proven expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines, release automation, and deployment scripting- Familiarity with Windows Server administration**What We Offer**:- Competitive **base salary**:- Full **law benefits (15 days of Christmas bonus if you have less than a year, 20 days of Christman bonus at year, 37.5% instead of 25% of vacation bonus)**:- **Punctuality** and **attendance bonus of $2,200 MXN**:- **Excellence**bonus of $1,000 MXN- **Private minor medical insurance**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: A partir de $36,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Días de maternidad superiores a los de la ley- Días de paternidad superiores a los de la ley- Seguro de gastos médicosPago complementario:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernesPregunta(s) de postulación:- Are you comfortable working in an onsite setting?- What's your salary expectation in mexican pesos and gross wiselyIdioma:- Inglés (C1) (Deseable)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
