Drive innovation for sustained growth by delivering the Divisional Activity Grid projects with quality execution and speed; efficiently and effectively adapting, validating, and implementing global bundles; selectively developing or implementing other new products for the regions; and continuously providing timely support for the base business and local initiatives to drive the growth.2. Excel at delivering fundamentals by complying with Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Environmental Affairs and Occupational Health and Safety requirements, and by integrating improvement projects and Corporate Sustainability Strategies in Implementation & Support processes at the Global Technology Center.3. Maintain Funding the Growth as a competitive advantage, identifying and executing timely divisional/regional FTG and simplification programs.**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:Under the guidance of their supervisors, responsible for carrying out technical experiments requiring a thorough knowledge of laboratory and/or process technology center techniques and equipment, recording test data, and alerting supervisors concerning unusual results or trends in test runs.**DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**- Perform varied routine analysis on samples following standard test procedures, evaluations or physical properties testing on products or raw materials.- Prepare lab and pilot plant batches of product, as directed.- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate samples for aging and stability.- Operate/be familiar with various appropriate instrumentation or equipment for various analyses.- Have thorough knowledge of laboratory and process technology center techniques and equipment, and assist in developing/improving product evaluation methods, procedures, and processes.- Assist in product formulation and process development.- Collect, record, analyze, interpret and communicate test data and relevant observations.- Ensure equipment is functioning as designed and conduct routine maintenance of assigned equipment.- Ensure assigned activities are conducted and documented according to Quality requirements and systems; implement applicable preventive or corrective actions.- Understand and use safe handling procedures for corrosive chemicals, gases, high pressure steam, flammable solvents, and fine particle size powders.- Perform selected Quality and Environmental Affairs, Occupational Health and Safety tasks as per team’s Quality plan; ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and EOHS practices are followed in the work area.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.**What do you need for the Position?**- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology- 1-2 Years of Functional Experience- 1-2 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience (preferred)- Advanced English- Google Tools- SAP (desirable)Equal Opportunity EmployerColgate is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status (United States positions), or any other characteristic protected by law.Colgate-Palmolive is a leading global consumer products company, tightly focused on Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition.
