About the role

Test Engineer focused on performing electrical and performance evaluations in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and combustion systems products, based on certification standards such as UL, ETL and ANSI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree – Mechatronics, IMA, IME, IEA, ICC.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced English (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

As Test Engineer you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing support to the Engineering and Design department in activities related to the Laboratory.
  • Preparation of test reports of the units for laboratory in a timely manner, evaluating safety criteria for our customers.
  • Realization of visual aids and JSA procedures for the execution of special activities within the Laboratory.
  • Promoting continuous improvement in the different processes to be executed, ensuring the quality of the results in the electrical tests.
  • Working as a team with the Laboratory staff for the continuous improvement of the area.
  • Administrative tasks such as inventory tracking.

Technical knowledge

  • Certification standards such as UL, ETL and ANSI.
  • HVAC knowledge.
  • Promote the 5's culture based on cleanliness and safety in the area regulated by EH&S.

Soft skills

  • To promote continuous improvement in the different processes to be executed, ensuring the quality of the results in the electrical tests.
  • Work as a team with the Laboratory staff for the continuous improvement of the area.
