Builds multi-dimensional relationships with customers. Leads sales team to achieve short and long-term plans related to people performance and growth of the business unit.**Key Responsibilities**:- Leads the implementation of customer, sales, marketing and other cross-functional plans for new and existing accounts to seek new business opportunities and maintain current business.- Leads and directs sales team in conjunction with other functions to maximize profitable sales.- Develop talent and succession plans through training, coaching, mentoring and leading of direct sales reports.- Develops and execute a comprehensive sales and trade spend plan.- Execute pricing strategy.- Leads customer negotiations.**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field. Business mayor acceptable depending on work experience.- 10+ years of experience in food industry sales. At least 5 of them in B2B.- 5+ years of experience leading people.- Proven experience leading complex high stakes negotiations.- Proven experience developing joint business plans with customers.- S&OP/IBP process experience.- Regional or Global account management experience.- Salesforce or similar CRM/Project Management tool experience, preferred.- Advanced/fluent English (spoken and written).**As an Equal Opportunities employer, McCormick is committed to an inclusive workforce.
