As a Security Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, and management of an organization's physical security programs. This role focuses on ensuring the protection of facilities, personnel, and assets from physical threats through the coordination of security efforts and procedures. You will be fully on-site in Mexico City (AGA Plant) and you need to have availability to travel by car. You will report directly to the Security Manager.**Key Responsibilities**- You will help assess security risks and vulnerabilities related to physical premises and personnel in Mexico City and State of Mexico.- You will report security incidents and solve them.- You will coordinate daily physical security operations, audits of security and inspections, ensuring compliance with established security protocols.- You will implement security norms for personnel, vendors, law enforcement, access control procedures and more.- You will monitoring security technologies, including surveillance systems and alarms, and recommend upgrades or improvements.- You will provide training and resources to security staff and employees on physical security best practices and emergency procedures.**Qualifications**- Previous experience of at least 3 to 4 years in physical security operations or related fields is advantageous- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.- Drivers license is necessary.- English- Abilities such as communication, incident solving and technology proficiency are key.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.****We are "One PPG" to the world.****We trust our people every day, in every way.****We make it happen.****We run it like we own it.****We do better today than yesterday - everyday.**Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
