**Job Description**:- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform hands-on and data-driven root cause-counter measure analysis of mechanical and soft-goods utilizing common problem-solving methodologies- Design and build test systems to determine root causes of factory issues and costumer complaints- Design, verify and implement mechanical product changes to develop optimal counter measures, all with a data driven approach- Work with the Manufacturing teams to create processes, tests, and procedures to improve machine reliability and manufacturing efficiency- Work with the Marketing teams to enhance Product Designs of legacy products to improve customer experience.- Able to design for reliability including modeling, theory, and accelerated testing- Bonus Qualifications:- Project Management Spanish proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:- Medical device change implementation (Quality Design Controls) Manufacturing experience Lean manufacturing and lean R&D background Test fixture design Textile basic knowledge/manufacturing Sewing and pattern making experience Oracle/Agile experience- Qualifications:- Minimum Qualifications:- 1+ Yrs of Experience in Product Development BS in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Proficiency in 3D modeling - SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferredABOUT DJO GLOBALDJO Global is a leading global developer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality medical devices that provide solutions for musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management.
