In this role, you will drive excellence, making technical recommendations to ensure that engineering activities are effectively executed in accordance with expectations, specifications, standards, and safety requirements, while identifying improvement opportunities for our regional engineering center in Merida, Yucatan**This position reports to**:Project Operations Manager**Your responsibilities**:- Design, specification, and documentation of automation system according to requirements.- Coordinate with hardware design.- Performing FATs (Factory Acceptance Test).- Commissioning on customer site.- Proactive participation in project teams.- Contribute with creative ideas to develop solutions that keep pace with technology and market trends.- Produce technical documentation in accordance with ABB’s and end customers’ requirements.**Your background**:- Bachelor’s/Master’s/Specialist’s degree in Electronics or related.- 5 years of experience leading teams.- Fluent English level.- Sound knowledge of project management and engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including project planning tools.- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.- Flexibility to travel abroad on business trips.**More about us**:
