Join the team and create the future of customer experience together. The AI Sales Specialist is a high-impact role responsible for driving sales of Genesys AI portfolio solutions. This role sits at the center of our transformation toward an AI-first GTM. The AI Sales Specialist is a business-outcome seller with deep understanding of AI-led transformation, capable of reframing customer conversations from features to measurable, enterprise-level impact. The role blends deep AI expertise with strong commercial acumen ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of technology innovation and value-driven enterprise sales. The Specialist partners closely with AEs, Solution Consulting, AI Architects, Marketing, and partners to accelerate AI pipeline creation, improve conversion, and position Genesys as the strategic AI platform of the Experience Economy. The AI Sales Specialist serves as the organization’s subject‑matter authority on applied AI for CX spanning Agentic AI, generative AI, predictive AI, workforce AI, Intelligent automation and analytics. Key Responsibilities Drive Agentic / AI Pipeline & Bookings on assign territory. Own regional pipeline and Bookings targets for our AI portfolio. Co‑lead with AEs through the entire sales cycle with AI‑specific motions, playbooks, and executive‑level narratives. Lead discovery and qualification for AI opportunities, especially in strategic and enterprise accounts. Transform AI interest into structured, high‑quality opportunities that progress through the funnel. Drive incremental revenue by co‑selling AI solutions into new and existing accounts alongside regional account teams. Lead the Customer Conversation on AI Value. Reach AI specific Buyer personas. Elevate conversations from “product features” to business outcomes: cost optimization, automation, customer experience, revenue growth. Articulate the Genesys Agentic AI vision and connect it to each customer’s transformation agenda. Deliver compelling demos, narratives, and ROI‑driven business cases. Lead AI solution positioning during the sales cycle, including discovery, value articulation, competitive differentiation, and commercial structuring. Partner Across the Organization. Work in tight partnership with AEs, SCs, Marketing, BDRs, and Alliances to run AI‑first pursuits. Ensure AI plays are embedded into account plans, GTM campaigns, and partner engagements. Activate co‑selling motion with GSIs, VARs, and ISVs. Accelerate Adoption of Agentic AI in the Installed Base Identify AI expansion use cases within the existing portfolio. Activate “land‑and‑expand” strategies for the AI portfolio. Reframe legacy IVR migrations into rapid Agentic AI self‑service opportunities. Present tailored solution narratives demonstrating measurable ROI, efficiency gains, customer satisfaction improvements, and revenue‑impact outcomes. Serve as AI Evangelist in assigned territory. Become internal and external voice for the AI narrative. Own competitive intelligence for the AI segment and collaborate with innovation & product teams to refine market messaging. Become a source of truth for customers on AI trends, positioning, competitive landscape, and best practices. Develop reusable sales strategies, customer stories, and business case templates for field teams. Represent the company as a thought leader at customer sessions, executive briefings, industry conferences, and partner events. Stay ahead of evolving AI trends, regulations, and competitive movements within the CX transformation domain. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years in enterprise SaaS technology sales. Demonstrated quota‑carrying experience and a strong track record of hitting sales targets. Proven ability to lead executive‑level conversations and influence C‑suite stakeholders. Strong understanding of AI concepts: generative AI, machine learning, virtual agents, agentic AI, LLM s, models, MCP, A2A. Demonstrated ability to build business cases and connect technology to measurable outcomes. encies Strategic thinking; Able to reframe customer problems with a business lens. High executive presence with strong storytelling and communication skills. Cross‑functional collaborator with experience in multi‑threaded enterprise selling.
