Sr Vendor Scheduler

Expertise the implementation of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Garrett Advancing Motion (SBG). You will engage in the execution and follow up with policies, procedures and material control systems. You will identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. You are expected to lead project teams within the business.Keep Garrett Advancing Motion’s production lines moving by ensuring materials are well scheduled, evaluated and accurately delivered on time, every timeContinuously improve material management processes to drive better business resultsUse your agility and ability to support clients to solve escalations and achieve metricsYOU MUST HAVE:- In depth experience and expertise with MRP/ERP SystemsWE VALUE:- Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes is desired- Knowledge in lean, six sigma tools and problem solving methodology- Knowledge in Project Management- Mentor junior members- Strong experience in Materials managementLead Team to meet Team MetricsEngage in the entire materials operation processFollow Garrett Advancing Motion Operating SystemFollow Health, Safety and Environment proceduresResolve material related problemsCoordinate among purchasing, production and engineering
