Use design skills to evaluate requirements and develop a strong architecture to meet requirements. Ability to identify solutions to meet requirements that are both cost effective and resilient. Individual will have skills in server and Operating Systems to be able to understand requirements set forth by those groups. This position will require the ability to assess business and technical trends to develop solutions. This position will take customers existing designs and translate them into standard ATOS designs, best practices, and equipment. Will frequently interact with customer engineers, executives, and business personnel to understand requirements required for the design. Must be able to communicate well in English both written and verbal. Will lead efforts for network design sessions and interact with project teams to complete tasks.**General Responsibilities**:- Participate and Lead Architecture and Design sessions with Customers and ATOS personnel and develop architectural drawings, and documents that describe the design.- Actively involved in configuration of new technology that does not have standard configurations- Participate in Troubleshooting calls when escalations to Level 4/Arch is needed- Will train and mentor junior engineers and other peers- Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to resolve problems- Assist in the development of standards and best practices for standard designs- Assist in the development of test plans to test and troubleshoot designs May perform one or more of the following:- Ensure all software and hardware products are compatible with network integration- Manage the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of the organization’s local area network systems- Manages the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of the organizations wide area network systems- Design, analyze, plan, and implement various network components - Assist in the development and evaluation of network performance criteria and measurement methods- Manage the testing and analysis of all components of network facilities to ensure operational status- Identify network problems and oversee resolution of problems- Participate in the research, design, planning, and development of new advanced network technologies, network components, and radio frequency and/or wireless transmission- Participate in an On-Call Rotation for the client- Any other duties as assigned- Strong written and communication skills- Strong network design skills- Expert level understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, TCP, and other networking protocols- Expert level knowledge of switching technologies including spanning tree, VTP, and others- Expert knowledge in routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, OTV- Expert knowledge in QOS design and configuration- Expert knowledge in WAN technology including MPLS, VPN, WAN Accelerators- Knowledge of VoIP technology- Hands on Experience with Cisco Nexus and Juniper Routing and Switching- Hands on experience with F5, and Citrix Netscaler Load Balancers- Expert knowledge of Cisco and Juniper Firewalls- Software Defined Networks (SDN) such as Cisco Meraki, Cisco Viptela, VMWare Velocloud- Data Center network infrastructure- Hybrid and Public cloud network infrastructure- Knowledge of CMS controls or PCI controls a plus- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervisionHere at Atos, we want all of our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.
