**Position Summary**:MAG Aerospace is hiring a Special Security Officer (SSO) position which will provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). Place of performance for this position is in Suitland, MDThis position requires a current DOD Top Secret/ SCI security clearance.**Must be a US Citizen****Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**- Assist SSO with security processes and procedures- Process paperwork and manage Program Access Requests (PAR)- Conduct destruction of classified material and provide accountability of all documents and data transfers.- **Following courses must be completed during the period of performance**:- ICD 704 Personnel Security Course- ICD 705 Physical Security Course- Special Security Officer Course (SSOC)- SCI Overview Seminar- Establishing & Operating an Insider Threat Program**Requirements**:**Minimum Requirements**- Minimum of **2 years’** experience working in an administrative role in a security environment- Knowledgeable of OPSEC, personnel industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security principals- Possess a working knowledge of Government and Industrial Security regulations and contractor clearances- Possess experience with processing visit certifications- Possess experience with maintaining security holding- Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software**Education**:- High School GED**Clearance**:- ** CURRENT ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET AND SCI CLEARANCE**:- Possess **eligibility** for access to be **upgraded to a **TS/SCI** in the **NEAR** future upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED)- Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future- Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years.- Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible**Special Note**:**Company Policy**:- All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status._- Click below for the “EEO is The Law” and “Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination” supplement posters._-- MAG provides reasonable accommodation to applicants under the guidance of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam-Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, and certain state and/or local laws._- or call ._
