Completing these RFQ's requires you to understand and interpret customer prints and work closely with sales, engineering, quality, suppliers/manufacturers and customers.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:- Researching and completing formal Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) from some of Fastenal Company's largest current and potential customers- Working closely with the following groups: Fastenal Sales Teams, Fastenal Product Development Teams, Manufacturers and Customers- Working on a team that is focused on MRO or OEM parts**REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency- Work independently as well as in a team environment- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities- Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork- Ability to speak fluent Spanish and English**PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**:- Possess or are working towards an Engineer related degree- Prior experience in sales or a related industry- Prior experience working with industrial products- Possess a valid United States Visa**ABOUT US**:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with approximately 3,200 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
