The Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) unit is currently seeking:The Manufacturing Unit Process Engineer is responsible for develop and improve manufacturing processes and engineering activities to support new product development and/or existing product enhancement. Implement projects to improve manufacturing capacity, cost reduction and continuous improvement.Job DescriptionFunctions and Responsibilities- Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of work standards.- Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.- Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.- Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.- Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality deviations.- Prepare work instruction / training material for process.- Lead and execute process validation and compile completion result; develop standards for material or process changes.- Lead in problem solving using continuous improvement methodologies and tools.- Implements and sustains BD Excellence work process for the manufacturing unit.- Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.- Perform other tasks as required.Requirements- Bachelor’s Engineering Degree in Industrial, Mechatronic, Electronic, Electrical, or related field.- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.- Troubleshooting / Problem Solving - Advanced- PLC experience preferred.- Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and high-level goals.- Strong leadership skills to be able to manage time, and a problem solver.- Ability to influence and build good working relationships according to BD Values.- Effective Oral/written Communication skills.- Proficiency in MS Office.- Bilingual English and Spanish.BD values equity in the workplace, without discrimination against any disability, social class, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.**Required Skills**:Optional SkillsPrimary Work LocationMEX ReynosaAdditional LocationsWork Shift
