About the Role As Country Manager, Mexico , you will be the face and driver of Coinbase’s growth strategy across the country. You’ll shape and execute market-specific initiatives, lead key regulatory relationships, and align product, marketing, and operations teams to local needs. Your success will be measured by your ability to grow users, revenue, and partnerships — all while ensuring strong governance and long-term sustainability. This is a rare opportunity for a senior leader who thrives in high-growth fintech environments and wants to make a real impact in one of the most exciting industries today. Key Responsibilities Own and execute the retail strategy for Mexico with a strong focus on user growth and revenue generation Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Business Development to tailor and deliver market-specific initiatives Lead Coinbase’s local regulatory efforts , engaging with policymakers, ensuring compliance, and advocating for fair crypto frameworks Act as Coinbase’s external representative in Mexico — at conferences, with regulators, media, and industry forums Drive operational excellence and help structure Coinbase Mexico for scalability, agility, and long-term growth Support the product roadmap execution through local insights and customer behavior analysis Translate global strategies into regional execution plans, maintaining consistency while meeting local requirements What We’re Looking For Senior leadership experience as CEO, GM, or Country Head within a top-tier fintech or consumer tech company in Mexico Proven track record of building and scaling a business, ideally in regulated environments Expertise in product and go-to-market strategies tailored for the Mexican market Experience managing relationships with regulators and government bodies Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish Comfortable working in a remote-first, global organization Deep interest in crypto and blockchain technologies (technical expertise not required — curiosity and willingness to learn is) Nice to Have Experience working at or with a U.S.-based tech or fintech company Strong network across the Mexican financial services ecosystem Prior exposure to crypto, Web3, or blockchain businesses Why Join Coinbase?
