Settlement analyst is responsible for overseeing the settlement of financial transactions, ensuring that all trades and transactions are executed, confirmed, and settled accurately and within specified time frames. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial instruments and markets. Digital-first and tech-savvy is a must. Some programming background preferred.**Requirements**:- Reporting structure- Experience in Finances, IT, or Remittances- Tech-savvy to plan for automation of functions and processes- Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Accounting, Finance or Administrative Economic Areas- Advanced English**Responsibilities**:- The primary responsibility of a Settlement Analyst is to ensure accurate and timely settlement of financial transactions.- Preparation of accounting items.- Management of statistics, reports for the monthly volume of transactions, meet the requirements of regulators, auditing and the Business.- Identify operational accounting exceptions or differences in different operational processes to monitor their correction in a timely manner to avoid or mitigate risks to the Institution.- Respond to information requests from internal and external clients or suppliers.- Comply with the guarantees established with internal clients and vendors.- Reconcile accounting operational information, identification, analysis and monitoring of elimination of exceptions in a timely manner.- Preparation of the report of balances of the operational process accounts in accordance with the guidelines established by the Finance area.- Generate reports related to accounting account reconciliation processes.- Generate reports and manage resolution of incidents that prevent reconciliation processes from being carried out.- Management of issuance and delivery of tax documents.
