We are dedicated to helping Higher Ed thrive by transforming their institutions to agile, digitally connected campuses that enable student success.Overview:**About the opportunity**As a Technical Trainer, you will use your skills and expertise to design and deliver high quality, innovative and effective training experiences to our customers, partners, and employees with the goal of improving technical knowledge and increasing adoption of Ellucian products.**Where you will make an impact**- Educate employees, customers, and partners on technical aspect of Ellucian software configuration and use- Coordinate with Instructional Designers and execute learning development activities including needs analysis, training approach, delivery, and evaluation- Conduct technical training and development programs to improve customer onboarding and adoption of Ellucian products; Deliver technical training to diverse audiences that may include audiences with various skill levels- Foster an environment of continuous improvement through evaluation of training programs- Maintain hands-on learning lab infrastructure; prepare environments for each course; review environment and content as they relate to course after upgrades- Keep abreast of information technology training needs, trends, methods, and techniques- Partner with Product teams to understand technical products- Partner with other key roles on the Production Team to form a cohesive, in-depth training vision for supporting Ellucian Customers, employees, and partners**What you will bring**- Extensive practical experience d delivering technical training courses, curriculums, and programs, working independently or with Instructional Designers- Experience leading technical training projects- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and have experience partnering with IT to deliver effective end user training- Experience with Ellucian products such as Banner or Colleague, or other enterprise ERP systems- Understanding of Higher Education software technologies including ERP, Student Information Systems, CRMs, etc.- Understanding of RDBMS database systems such as Oracle or Postgres, including knowledge of SQL- Knowledge in the following technologies: Java, Object Oriented Programming, Groovy, Grails- Proven ability to adapt to shifting product and end user requirements, to cut through ambiguity, and work with others on simultaneous projects- Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative- Experience teaching technical topics in a classroom and remote environment- Strong organizational and time management skillsWhat makes #Ellucianlife:**What makes #Ellucianlife**- Comprehensive health coverage: family major medical expenses, dental and life insurance.- Christmas bonus 30 days- Saving fund- Monthly food coupon- 15 workdays vacation- Thrive Flex Program that allows you to contribute towards your health, financial or learning interests- 5 charitable days to support the community that supports us- Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups such as: Women in Technology, Pride and Go Green to name a few.- Parental leave- Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team- We Foster a learning culture with:- Tuition Reimbursement Assistance- Professional development opportunitiesLI-MH1LI-Remote
