Overview:A data architect to deliver the Azure cloud solution architecture for the data and analytics domain. The architect will also be responsible for building standards regarding capability domains and driving solution development for opportunities in the platform. The architect will also evaluate new technologies to insert into the PepsiCo NorthStar technology stack.**Responsibilities**:**What will you be doing?**- Definition of platform standards for all capability domains in the D&A landscape- Development of new services that can support all D&A solutions - horizontal common services- Delivery of project solution architectures for the data and analytic solutions built within the organization - infrastructure/technology design along with higher stack solution designs- Evaluation of new technologies that can help deliver new innovative capabilities and streamline the existing data product development lifecycle- Work with these teams to deliver the services and solution architectures required for the platform or sector deliveries.- Work with teams to get the functional requirements for the projects and provide the designs to support the data engineers.- Constantly communicate the progression of our activities and support the communication to the sectors regarding our deliverables.Qualifications:**Who are we looking for?**- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Experience developing and executing strategic implementations.- Strong analytical and problem-solving & Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- For years of Experience, provide detail such as: 4+ years of engineering/development, 2+ years of experience in the data and analytics space (data engineering, data modeling)**Mandatory tech skills**:- SQL (EDW; ORACLE, MS TOOLS)- Data Engineering- Data Modeling- Azure Administration- Databricks/ADLS- Power BI**Mandatory****Non****-****Tech skills**- Excellent remote collaboration skills & working in a matrix organization with diverse priorities- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with collaboration and listening skills- Ability to work with agile delivery methodologies & understand release process to production system and test management**What can you expect from us?**- Competitive compensation package- A flexible work environment that promotes a healthy balance between personal and professional life- A dynamic and inclusive culture- A supportive team that will foster your professional growth and development- Opportunity to work with relevant projects worldwide- Opportunity to give back to the community with our volunteer programs
