SimWell is a fully remote company in North America, India, Australia, and Middle East.**Position Overview**We are looking for an experienced remote Senior Supply Chain Network Optimization Analyst in Mexico to join our team. Our group works with several technologies and business challenges such as Digital Supply Chain Twins, Scenario Planning, Capacity Planning, Network strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, E-commerce development/improvement, Transportation Planning, and strategy, Omni-channel builds, Reverse Management, Expansion planning and strategy, Resiliency, and much more. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the supply chain. Your expertise in supply chain network optimization will help the organization to reduce lead times, improve service levels, and increase profitability.This is a full-time role. You can live and work anywhere in Mexico.**Key Responsibilities**:- Be able to analyze data, prepare data, support the solution architectural component, model the end-to-end process, create visualizations, document, and provide deliverables.- Capture and/or translate business requirements and process flow to design and model.- Ability to manipulate, clean, format, and analyze complex data sets.- Run scenario experiments to meet client specs and objectives.- Identifying opportunities or next steps for creating supply chain efficiencies and savings for the customer- Conduct supply chain analysis and root cause to make recommendation(s)- Collaborate with Clients, Solutions Architect, Project Manager/Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Data engineers, Modelers to make sure the project is aligned to plans and timeline.- Develop in-depth knowledge of the client’s supply chain and business challenges by conducting or collaborating to build business flows and workflows to help the team bridge the gap between the current state and/or future state.- Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and logistics providers, to optimize the entire supply chain network.**Requirements**:- Excellent English written and verbal level communication and collaboration; comfortable and effective in communicating with the client.- Listening skills to understand true customer needs and how to influence desired and innovative outcomes.- Data manipulation and data querying skills: Experience using a ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, for example; Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Coupa (Llamasoft) Data Guru, Knime, etc.Ability to query and join data with any of the following databases, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, etc.- Network optimization and supply chain design- Experience using Llamasoft and/or anyLogistix, others will be considered a plus.- 5+ years of experience in supply chain network optimization or a related field.- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts, including inventory management, transportation, and distribution.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.- Canada or Mexico Based**Preferred Qualifications**:- Experience working with key stakeholders to gather and document model requirements. This could include creating business/functional design requirements and using tools like Microsoft Visio to create process flows.- Experience working in projects with supply chain technologies such as digital twin, optimization, simulation, AI, etc.- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.- Consulting background experience- Experience in capacity planning, E-commerce, Logistics, Omni-Channel, demand forecasting- Experience in an Agile environment- Experience in creating statistical analysis using tools such as Python’s Panadas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, StatsModels, Seaborn libraries, or R’s dplyr, ggplot2, tidyr, and caret libraries.- Experience in Object Oriented Programming using Python, Java,
