The primary function of this role is to take ownership of assigned lighting electronics related projects. This individual will be joining a well-established team that is helping to move the electric vehicle market forward.**YOUR TASKS**- Review OEM customer requirements to create cutting edge hardware design.- Conduct circuit simulations and worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) to support program design.- Manage testing process including plan creation, data analysis, reporting and recommendations.- Work with mechanical, optics, systems and software teams.- Prepare program documentation including schematics, bill of materials, hardware software specification, and DFMEA.- Lead technical discussions with the OEMs.- Coordinate activities within the development team.**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**- 7+ years hardware development experience including advanced fundamental electrical design knowledge.- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent by combination of education and years of experience.- Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) design.- Basic SW knowledge (microcontrollers).- Electronic Control Unit (ECU)/LED Driver Module (LDM) knowledge.- Proficient English level.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**- Previous experience designing Electronic Control Units (ECU)/LED Driver Modules (LDM).- Prior experience working with Mathcad and DOORS.- Demonstrated skills in schematic capture.- Dynamic printed circuit board layout design.**HELLA Automotive Mexico S.A. de C.V.**Alfonso ChaconPhone:
