This Principal Software Engineer role involves deep participation in our client’s web framework development, iterative testing, analytics, monitoring and data science on their massive quantity of data.The SEO team that you will become part of has developed a data/test driven approach to understanding the interaction with search engines, users and the many complex interactions between them. Search engine optimization is no longer just about page-ranking, it has evolved into a highly competitive landscape including both external impact as well as site content and structure.In this position, you will be working with some of the best SEO practitioners in the space utilizing extensive PB-sized datasets, to understand what is working and how it works. Curiosity and willingness to dig deeply into both the company’s success and failures and those of their competitors is key to being successful.Your day-to-day work as a **Principal Software Engineer** on the team will entail helping more junior engineers with design challenges, code reviews, working closely with the SEO analysts to prioritize and create work items and collaborating across the company on some of our client’s highest profile projects. Their microservices are used during every page load, helping to form the foundations for the site.
